EU citizens can request the Italian Tax Code easily and for free. Residence in Italy is not required.

Required Documents
- Valid ID (national ID or passport from EU country)
- Form AA4/8 filled out
No residence permit is needed for EU citizens.
Request Procedure
- Fill out form AA4/8
- Go in person to the Revenue Agency
- Submit documents
- Receive Tax Code immediately
