FAQ
What if the municipality was suppressed?
Use the code of the municipality existing at birth. Suppressed municipalities remain valid for already issued CFs.
How do I find the code for someone born abroad?
Search the country name. Foreign codes start with Z: Z112 (Germany), Z110 (France), Z129 (Romania), etc.
Why do some municipalities have the same code?
That's not possible. Each municipality has a unique code. If you find duplicates, verify the correct spelling.
